My idea for a samurai character in the game Killer Instinct. Concept for IG Killer Instinct
The story would be something like
This woman was a scientist who was involved in the resurrection of the Spinal, and actively participated in team occult and black magic of UltraTech. All involved with the masks, resurrection, invocation (Eyedol), reactivation of the homunculus, bring Vlad back to life, etc.
During his last job as a scientist at Ultratech, the team was testing a new way of working with the ghostly plasma, newly discovered.
Initial tests demanded a personal object, to create a connection with the remaining plasma, the person you want to bring back. The scientist then used the scabbard of a samurai. Sanada Yukimura is his name.
The experiment failed, no result was confirmed. The section of the scientist was closed and she was dismissed.
For days the scientist had nightmares and was diagnosed as insane. When Ultratech tried to assassinate the scientist to cover his tracks, she was possessed and killed all sent to kill her
She escapes and learns how to dominate and subjugate the spirit. Vowing revenge against Ultratech for trying to kill her, the scientist using the name Sanada, back to UltraTech, to show what she is capable of.
